Open Book & Board of Review

The Board of Review functions as a quasi-judicial entity tasked with reviewing the tax assessment roll. Its responsibilities include rectifying any errors or omissions in property descriptions or calculations, addressing objections to assessments, and making adjustments based on sworn testimony proving inaccuracies.

The accessor is responsible for the initial assessment of the general property based on value. Residents must meet with the accessor during the Open Book period BEFORE attending the Board of Review.

2024 Open Book

An Open Book is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, 2024 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  If you are unable to speak with the assessor on these dates, please call anyway and they will answer your assessment concerns. Please call the assessor at 1-920-749-1995 to schedule an appointment during Open Book. All Open Book appointments are conducted over the phone.

2024 Board of Review
The Board of Review will meet on Wednesday, May 22, 2024  from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Municipal Center. The Board of Review meets by appointment only.  Please call the assessor prior to scheduling an appointment with the Board of Review.  Appointments to appear at the Board of Review can be scheduled by contacting the Village Clerk at 715-693-4200 ext. 1728.  If you wish to file an objection and appeal to the Board of Review, you can download packet materials here. This packet contains the necessary paperwork and links to the forms necessary to file an objection as well as information from the Department of Revenue regarding the appeal process. This paperwork must be turned in to the Municipal Center by 4 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2024.
