The Kronenwetter Police Department is hiring a part time police and court clerk. The position pays $23.64 per hour. 

Part Time Police and Court Clerk

Under the general direction of the Chief of Police and the Municipal Court Judge, this position 
assists the full time Police and Court Clerk with their duties. 

Police Clerk Nature of Work
The Police Clerk is a represented position performing a myriad of administrative work involving 
day to day operations of the police department. The Police Clerk also serves as a confidential 
secretary to the Chief of Police. The work of the Police Clerk is performed under the direct 
supervision of the Chief of Police. 

While work is generally performed in accordance with established policies and procedures, the 
employee will be expected to exercise considerable independent action within these policies 
based upon experience. Work usually involves considerable contact with the public.

You must have the ability to maintain a professional working relationship with fellow employees and the 
general public. A neat, well-dressed, professional appearance is required at all times.

This position requires considerable knowledge of the English language, grammar, and spelling.

Deputy Court Clerk Nature of Work
The Deputy Court Clerk (here-in referred to as the Court Clerk) is a represented position 
performing a myriad of administrative work involving day to day operations of the municipal 
court.

The Court Clerk also serves as a confidential secretary to the Municipal Judge. The work 
of the Court Clerk is performed under the direct supervision of the Municipal Judge. 

While work is generally performed in accordance with established policies and procedures, the 
employee will be expected to exercise considerable independent action within these policies 
based upon experience.

Work usually involves considerable contact with the public. You must have the ability to maintain a professional working relationship with fellow employees and the general public. A neat, well-dressed, professional appearance is required at all times.

EMPLOYMENT CATEGORY:

Part time, consisting of a flexible schedule of approximately 15-20 hours per week, generally Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm.

Pay rate is $23.64 per hour.
