Village of Kronenwetter Lands on Another 2023 Safest Wisconsin Cities List
LendEDU, a financial information site, just posted results from its safest cities in America study. Kronenwetter came in at number six on the list.
According to LendEDU’s website the cities were ranked using the total crime risk score for every single town in the country.
The score represents the combined risk of rape, murder, assault, robbery, larceny and vehicle theft compared to the national average of 100 according to the website. Earlier this year, the Village of Kronenwetter was ranked number two on Safewise’s yearly Wisconsin’s Safest Cities Report. The year before it was ranked 9th overall.
Safewise based their rankings on violent crime and property crime rates. Kronenwetter boasts a property crime rate of 2.8 incidents per 1000 people and a violent crime rate of 0.5 incidents per 1000 people. Find the full study here: https://www.safewise.com/blog/safest-cities-wisconsin/
“I think the positive ranking from both the Safewise and LendEDU support what we already know: Kronenwetter is a great place to raise your family and grow your business due to many factors, chief among those is safety,” said Kronenwetter Police Terry Chief McHugh. “It’s a testament to the great working relationship between the citizens and the police department.”
