Take a look at the Kronenwetter Water Treatment Facility groundbreaking
The ground is broken and Kronenwetter’s new water treatment facility is on its way.
On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, Village President Chris Voll ushered in this third phase of the four-phase plan aimed to bring cleaner water to the residents of Kronenwetter.
“We have been planning this for a long time," said Voll. "We are glad to see it come to fruition. We know the upgrades will improve water for years to come.”
“We are anticipating this filtration facility will solve a lot of residents’ complaints and frustrations,” said Kronenwetter Water Utility Lead Operator Mark Mackey.
Voll and Mackey were joined by Trustees Alex Vedvik, Sean Dumais and Kelly Coyle; Village staff; and representatives from Becher Hoppe to get the project officially started.
