You biked, walked and mingled at Bike and Walk for the Health of It

Residents and their furry friends turned out to bike and walk with their Village neighbors during our annual Bike and Walk for the Health of It.

Participants were invited to complete a 1-mile walk, 3-mile bike ride or a 9-mile bike ride.

“This was the perfect way to kick-off summer,” said Planning Technician William Gau. “Everyone who came out seemed to enjoy mingling with their neighbors.”

Event sponsor, TDS, featured a pedal-powered slushie-making bike. The Fender Blender was a hit.

Aspirus sized and handed out helmets.

Members of the Kronenwetter Fire Department met with residents and gave tours of Ladder Truck 1.

Five bikes, a pair of snowshoes and 6 gift baskets were raffled off thanks to our event sponsors: TDS, Mosinee Area Chamber of Commerce, Mosinee Family Chiropractic, Little Bull Falls Soap Works, Backes Family Chiropractic, Beyond Blessed Therapies LLC, Rib Mountain Cycles and Scentsy.
