No overnight street parking until May 1, 2023

The Village of Kronenwetter's snow plows are ready for winter! During a snow event, please remember to drive with caution and give snowplows plenty of room. We are watching the streets for you, and deployment will be made as needed according to developing conditions. The Village of Kronenwetter is NOT responsible for plowing county or state highways.

NO STREET PARKING from November 1 to May 1, between the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Keep the streets clear for our snowplows.

Violations can result in a parking citation, and if the situation dictates the vehicle may be towed at the owner's expense.

You can request permission to park overnight by calling the Sheriff's Department non-emergency number at 715-261-1200. Permission will not be granted if snow is forecasted. In the event permission was granted but an unexpected snowfall occurs, you will be contacted and asked to move your vehicle.

After the snow plows have been through, it is up to residents to clear the snow from the area adjacent to their mailbox. This will help reduce the possibility of damage. If you think your mailbox was damaged by one of our plows, please contact the Village at 715-693-4200, so we can investigate the issue.

If you have a fire hydrant near your home, please consider shoveling any snow accumulations around it. Firefighters need to be able to get to the fire hydrants quickly to protect people and property. Please clear a margin of about three feet all around the hydrant, along with a path to the street. Thank you!
