Fire Extinguisher Disposal

Fire extinguishers, either empty or with charge in it, can be brought to the Kronenwetter Municipal Center for disposal.  The Kronenwetter Fire Department recycles empty extinguishers.  A fire extinguisher with charge in it is used for fire department training exercises.

Empty fire extinguishers are also accepted free of charge and disposed of as scrap metal at the Marathon County Landfill.
