The Finance Department is responsible for managing all aspects of the Village’s finances, including providing day-to-day oversight of financial activities and financial planning.

Responsibilities include:
    • Financial reporting, including preparing the annual audit and monthly reports
    • Coordinating the annual budget process, including operating budgets for all municipal funds and capital improvement planning
    • Calculating the tax rate and managing the tax collection process 
    • Providing cash management services, including maintaining the accounting system; receipting; and investing monies; and debt management.

The Finance Department strives to provide quality stewardship of Village resources, timely, and accurate financial information, and excellent customer service.
