National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out is meant to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Although this is the first year that the Village of Kronenwetter is participating in this event, millions of neighborhoods and communities take part in National Night Out from all fifty states, U.S. territories, and military bases worldwide. For this event, the Kronenwetter Police Department and Kronenwetter Fire Department will host a meet and greet with community residents. Participants will be able to see inside multiple emergency response vehicles, meet members of each department, participate in educational opportunities, and partake in other fun activities.
Event Date: August 3rd, 2021 (First Tuesday in August) at 6:00 p.m.
Location: Towering Pines Park
