National Night Out
Meet our Kronenwetter first responders at National Night Out.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out is meant to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
For this event, the Kronenwetter Police Department and Kronenwetter Fire Department will host a meet and greet with community residents. Participants will be able to see inside multiple emergency response vehicles, meet members of each department, participate in educational opportunities, and partake in other fun activities. This is a great event to create connections and strengthen our community!
Event Date: August 1, 2023 (First Tuesday in August) at 6:00 p.m.
Location: Towering Pines Park
Sponsor: Valley Communities Credit Union
- Touch-a-truck - The Kronenwetter Fire Department, Kronenwetter Police Department, Marathon County Sheriffs Department, South Area Fire and Emergency Response, and Kronenwetter Department of Public Works will all be in attendance with a variety of equipment that residents and kids can take pictures with and go inside.
- Meet our police officers, fire Crew, and first Responders - Residents will have the opportunity to talk with the individuals who continually keep our community safe. Questions are encouraged!! Each department may have stickers or other items to hand out.
- Food trucks - TBD
- Raffle baskets - TBD
- Music - Music will be provided during this event!
- Village table - The Village will have a table at this event. Feel free to come to ask questions, enter to win a raffle basket prize, subscribe to our newsletter, or just have a friendly conversation! We would love to meet you!
