Deck The Yard
THANK YOU to everyone who decorated their homes (and business) this year! And thank you to everyone who voted.
Are you looking for a way to show off your holiday spirit? The Village will be bringing back its Deck the Yard Contest in 2024! The Village is asking members of the community to celebrate and show off their holiday spirit by decorating their businesses or homes.
Participation is free and open to all Kronenwetter residents! Only decorations visible from the street will be judged. Judging will be based on 'curb appeal'. BE CREATIVE, BE FESTIVE AND HAVE FUN WITH IT!!
Participants must submit a photo or video of their decorated yard to jpoyer@kronenwetter.org by the nomination deadline below. You are encouraged to be in the submitted photo/video. Please also include the property address, property owners' names, and property owners' contact information.
Nomination Deadline: Thursday, December 12, 2024
Voting Period: Friday, December 13 - Tuesday, December 31, 2023
Winner Announced: Early January 2024
Too cold to decorate? Don't worry! If it's too cold or decorating isn’t your thing, we ask that you participate during the voting period. Public voting will begin Friday, December 13, 2023 and remain available until the end of day Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
All submission locations will be posted as a map. The public is encouraged to check each one out! Individuals, couples, and families can get together, tour the displays, and vote for the best one! All from the comfort of a warm car! A winner will be announced in early January. A link to the voting poll will be available on this webpage and the Village Facebook page.
Participants agree to have one or more photos of their decorated property posted on the Village of Kronenwetter Community Events Webpage, Village of Kronenwetter Facebook Page, and/or other marketing materials for the Village of Kronenwetter. No compensation will be given for this material.
