Tax Timeline:
December 15 - Property tax bills are generally available in mid-December. Tax bills, when they become available, are viewable online at the Marathon County Land Records web site.

January 31 -The first property tax installment payment is due to the Village of Kronenwetter on January 31. Personal property taxes are due in full on January 31.
July 31 - If you are paying in installments, the second tax installment payment is due to the Marathon County Treasurer by July 31.

Drop Box: The Village has a secure drop box (utility payment drop box) located at the entrance of the building.

In person: In person cash, check and credit card payments are accepted at the Kronenwetter Municipal Center.
NEW TAX HOURS: Monday - Friday, December 15, 2023 - January 30, 2024 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
EXCEPTIONS: December 28, 2023; December 29, 2023; and January 31, 2024 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WE WILL BE CLOSED: Friday, December 22, 2023; Monday, December 25, 2023; and Monday, January 1, 2024.

Note: There is a 2.95% non-refundable convenience fee charged on all credit & debit card transactions.
