Roofing

Roofing permits are required when replacing the roof of a single family home. Permits are not needed to replace siding or soffits.

Acceptable roofing materials for residences include wood shakes; asphalt, composition, or wood shingles; clay, concrete or metal tiles; slate; built-up gravel materials; architectural standing seam metal roofing; hidden fastener metal roofing.
