MINUTES
Rick Smith called the Public Hearing to order at 6:02 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Commissioners present: Rick Smith, Sue Bird, Tom Pitcher, Tom Jansen,
Todd Breaker and Guy Fredel.
Also present: Marie Wonsil, Planning Commission Secretary, Lisa Myles,
Public Works Director.
President Smith welcomed newly appointed Commissioner Sue Bird.
PUBLIC HEARING:
ZONING CHANGE request from Mark Stroik, 2483 Forest Grove, Mosinee, WI 54455 from R-I Single Family Residence District to R-2 One and Two Family Residence District. Legal description of this property is: Lot 1 of Block 3 of Replat of Forest Haven Subdivision located in Section 06, T27N, R8E in the Village of Kronenwetter, Marathon County, WI and consists of .50 Acre.

John K. Anderson, 2070 Lea Road, Mosinee, WI spoke in favor of the zoning change.
He and his wife Christine would like to sell two -2 acre parcels of land.

MEETING MINUTES
Rick Smith called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:09 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Commissioners present: Rick Smith, Sue Bird, Tom Pitcher, Tom Jansen,
Todd Breaker and Guy Fredel.
Also present: Marie Wonsil, Planning Commission Secretary, Lisa Myles,
Public Works Director.
APPROVE MEETING MINUTES OF AUGUST 20, 2007:
Tom Pitcher made a Motion to approve the meeting minutes from August 20, 2007 and dispense with the reading. Motion seconded by Tom Jansen.
Roll call on motion:
Bird-abstain, Pitcher-yes, Jansen-yes, Breaker-yes, Fredel-yes. Motion approved.
DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION ON REQUEST FOR
A.) AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE-REZONE TO BE DATED SEPTEMBER 24, 2007:
1.) MARK STROIK:
Lisa Myles stated that staff does not support the Re-Zone application for Mr. Stroik. This request does not follow the Village’s Land Use Plan. Mr. Stroik indicated to Ms. Myles that this lot was difficult to sell due to the pipeline going through it.
Mr. Stroik has other lots that have the pipeline going through them.
Commissioner Fredel stated it would be beneficial to him and the other Commissioners if Lisa Myles would include her comments in writing regarding items on the agenda that need action and provide this information to the Commissioners in their packets.
Tom Pitcher made a Motion to recommend to the Village Board to deny the Amendment to Zoning Ordinance-Rezone dated September 24, 2007 for Mark Stroik as it does not comply with the Village Land Use Master Plan. Motion seconded by Todd Breaker.
Roll call on motion:
Bird-yes, Pitcher-yes, Jansen-yes, Breaker-yes, Fredel-abstain. Motion approved.
2.) FLORENCE ROPEL:
Lisa Myles stated that staff approves this request. It is keeping with the current area zoning.
Tom Jansen made a Motion to recommend to the Village Board to approve the
Amendment to Zoning Ordinance-Rezone dated September 24, 2007 for
Florence Ropel. Motion seconded byTom Pitcher.
Discussion: The Re-Zoning Committee viewed Ag.1 and Ag. 2 as interchangeable agricultural districts. In July, 2007 the Village Planning and Board approved a zoning change from Ag. 2 to Ag. 1. on an adjacent 10 acre parcel belonging to Ms. Ropel.

Bird-yes, Pitcher-yes, Jansen-yes, Breaker-yes, Fredel-yes. Motion approved.
3.) JOHN K. AND CHRISTINE ANDERSON:
Lisa Myles stated that staff approves this request.
Guy Fredel made a Motion to recommend to the Village Board to approve the Amendment to Zoning Ordinance-Rezone dated September 24, 2007 for John and Christine Anderson. Motion seconded by Sue Bird.
Discussion: The property owners are fully aware that they must comply with Village Ordinance 66.70 “Mandatory Hookup”. Approximate cost will be $14,000.00 for each hookup.

DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON CSM(S):
VREELAND ASSOCIATES, INC. /CHRISTINE ANDERSON
All of parcel 1 of CSM 10800-45-52 located in the NW1/4, NE1/4 Sec. 12-27-07
Guy Fredel made a Motion to approve the CSM for Christine Anderson. Motion
seconded by Tom Pitcher. .

Bird-yes, Pitcher-yes, Jansen-yes, Breaker-yes, Fredel-yes. Motion approved.
