MARKED RADAR TRAILER UNIT #KST01
2006 Decatur Electronics OnSite 350
This radar trailer was purchased in December of 2006. When we receive complaints about speeding vehicles or notice traffic problems, we will place the trailer into that area. The trailer helps remind people of the speed limit for that area, and if they are speeding it will flash a strobe light and the speed that they are going to remind them to slow down. It also has an information gathering module which gathers statistics, breaking them down into times of day, speed ranges etc. This will help our department understand areas that need increased traffic enforcement. If you would like to see the radar trailer in your neighborhood, e-mail the Chief of Police at policechief@kronenwetter.org.
