Everyone loves to spend time in their favorite neighborhood park. Here in Kronenwetter we take great pride in our beautiful, fun and safe parks. The parks department does a wonderful job taking care of our parks to keep them enjoyable for you. Remember, these are your parks. Do not litter and keep the property clean for everyone to enjoy.

MUNICIPAL CENTER PARK
1582 Kronenwetter Drive (MAP IT)

Located just south of the Kronenwetter Municipal Center off Maple Park Drive. This park has three (3) ball diamonds with dugouts and scoreboards. Also includes a 42' x 18' open shelter, playground, and portable bathroom.
*NO PARKING ALLOWED ON GRASS*
 
SUNSET PARK
2390 Terrebonne Drive (MAP IT)

Located at the intersections of Terrebonne Dr and Forsyth Rd. This park has a ball diamond with dugouts and scoreboard. Also has two (2) tennis courts, half-court basketball, sand volleyball and playground. This park also has a 14' x 18' open shelter with attached restrooms.
 
FRIENDSHIP PARK
2350 Sunny Meadow Drive (MAP IT)

Our newest park, it is located at the intersection of Kowalski Road and Sundial Avenue. This park has tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer field, horseshoe pits, playground and a dog bark park. This park also has a 28' x 24' open shelter with attached restrooms.
 
SEVILLE PARK
2200 Glendalen Road (MAP IT)

Located on Glendalen Road at Dewberry Drive but can be accessed from the north off Seville Road. This is a small neighborhood park which offers playground equipment and a volleyball court.
 
RECREATIONAL & SOCCER FIELDS
1688 Pine Road (MAP IT)

Our largest park, sitting at around 10 acres, it is located on Tower Road at Pine Road near the Kronenwetter water tower and Evergreen Elementary School. There are three (3) soccer fields and playground equipment. There are also three portable bathrooms.

GOODING PARK
2200 Old Highway 51 (MAP IT)

A wooded wayside-type park located along Old Highway 51 north of Kowalski Road. This park offers an open shelter, picnic tables, grills and a portable bathroom. Not to mention plenty of shade!
 
NORM PLAZA MEMORIAL PARK
1077 Russell Street (MAP IT)

A neighborhood park located on Russell Street just south of Sundance Road. This park has a baseball backstop, basketball court, playground, soccer field and portable bathroom. It also features an open shelter with a public grill.
 
KRONENWETTER FORESTRY UNIT
4420 East State Highway 153 (MAP IT)

This 5000 acre unit in southeast Kronenwetter. There are multiple access points with parking areas located on Martin Road, Pyke Road and E State Hwy 153. This unit abuts the Leather Camp forest unit on the southern end. This unit has excellent hiking and equestrian trails, as well as a good portion is designated snowmobile trail in the winter. The main improved road system connects Hwy. 153 on the south, to Pyke Road on the west and Martin Road on the north. The terrain fluctuates between fairly flat in the southern area, to gently rolling in the north. The forest has a nice mixture of oak, hardwoods, aspen and some pine plantations. Wildlife abound with deer, bear, grouse, woodcock, beaver and a host of songbirds.

LEATHER CAMP FORESTRY UNIT
4445 East State Highway 153 (MAP IT)

This 5000 acre forest unit is a designated Ruffed Grouse Management Area. This unit is specifically managed to provide excellent grouse and woodcock habitat and consequently receives substantial hunting pressure in the fall. There are multiple access points and parking areas to the unit: Hwy. 153, Twilight Road, and Hunter’s Road.The main interior woods road running from Hwy. 153 to Hunter’s Road is well improved. This provides good hiking, Mt. Biking and Horse back riding. This unit is attached to the Kronenwetter Forest Unit on the north end.
