CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT-PRIVATE RUNWAY-PROPERTY
ON 16TH ROAD/JAMES SHNOWSKI:
The Village Board requested that the Planning Commission review
the letter they received from James Shnowski and the packet of
material on his Conditional Use Permit.
Points of discussion:
- Currently the property, where the runway is located, is zoned Ag-2 and requires a Conditional Use Permit to operate.
- Village needs to control all Conditional Use Permits
- Continuation of all Conditional Uses as stated in Village Zoning Ordinance
- Extend the time limit on this Conditional Use Permit to 10 years
- Cost of this renewal permit - $150.00
- All private runways have to have FAA approval and they set hours of operation
- CWA has no objections to this private runway as long as all requirements and permits are in place
Guy Fredel made a Motion to recommend to the Village Board,
that if James Shnowski applies for a Conditional Use Renewal
Permit, to approve a 10-year renewal permit with the cost of
$150.00. Motion seconded by Tom Jansen.
