LIEUTENANT OF POLICE PROMOTION CEREMONY
On July 30, 2009 the police department crossed another milestone by promoting the first Police Lieutenant for this agency. Terry McHugh was selected to serve as Lieutenant of Police and after being sworn in by Village Clerk Cindy Falkowski, was formally pinned by his wife Terri and their children. In attendance were Village President Judith Akey along with new Village Administrator Blaine Oborn. Others present to congratulate Lt. McHugh were his fellow officers from the Kronenwetter Police Department and Mosinee Police Department as well as other Kronenwetter employees.
Lt. McHugh was hired in 2006 and has worked hard to prepare himself for this position and not only has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice but had also completed First Line Supervisor and Police Management courses to better prepare himself for the duties that are faced by a Police Lieutenant in today's law enforcement field.
We congratulate Lt. McHugh and look forward to the guidance and leadership that he is prepared to provide this department as well as assistance to the Chief of Police in the day to day operations of a great community oriented and progressive law enforcement agency such as the Kronenwetter Police Department.
