JOINT MEETING OF THE KRONENWETTER VILLAGE BOARD MEETING
AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
JUNE 17, 2008
MEETING MINUTES
Rick Smith called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Members of the Village Board present: Rick Smith, Rod Fisher, Dan Lesniak, Charles Soukup, and Chris Voll.
Excused Absent: Geri Kowalski.
Excused Tardy: Justeen Vollrath
Also present: Krystal Bokelman, Village Clerk and Lisa Myles, Public Works Director/Zoning Administrator.
Members of the Redevelopment Authority present: Peter Paul, Terry Radtke, Jim Forbes, Ron Miller, Rod Fisher, and Randy O’Brien.
Justeen Vollrath arrived at 5:03 p.m.
EVALUATE AND REVIEW SCHNEIDER CONSULTANTS, PERFORMANCE ON TID AND VILLAGE ENGINEER CONTRACTS:
The Board and RDA discussed the engineer contracts and how to develop a process on how approval for bills and contract changes should be handled.
Terry Radtke stated that he would like to see the RDA take control of the RDA process from start to finish and develop the communication flow.
Dan Lesniak stated that the Administrator is a key factor in working with the RDA. Jim Forbes stated that it says in the contract that Mr. Schneider reports to the Administrator.
Mr. Schneider stated that per statute and per resolution, he should report to the RDA for TID work.
The RDA would like to have a meeting and have Mr. Schneider give an update on the TIDs and for the RDA to develop a communication flow chart.
DISCUSSION AND ACTION ON SCHNEIDER CONSULTANTS PERFORMANCE ON TID AND VILLAGE ENGINEER CONTRACTS:
Justeen Vollrath would like to review this issue in six months or the first meeting in January to recap.
Dan Lesniak made a Motion to take no action, seconded by Rod Fisher. Roll Call: Smith-no, Vollrath-no, Fisher-yes, Lesniak-yes, Soukup-yes, Voll-no. Motion approved.
ADJOURNMENT:
Rod Fisher made a Motion to adjourn, seconded by Dan Lesniak. All members in favor of Motion by voice vote. Motion approved.
The meeting adjourned at 5:48 p.m.
