PLANNING COMMISSION
JANUARY 21, 2008
MEETING MINUTES
Sue Bird called the Planning Commission meeting to order at
6:00 P.M.
(Rick Smith left on an emergency fire call.)
ROLL CALL: Commissioners present: Sue Bird, Tom Jansen,
Todd Breaker and Bill Udulutch.
Commissioner Tom Pitcher sent Village President Rick Smith a letter
of resignation.
Also present: Marie Wonsil, Planning Commission Secretary
and Bruce Bierma, Village Administrator.
APPROVE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES:
PUBLIC HEARING & REGULAR MEETING OF NOVEMBER 19, 2007:
Bill Udulutch made a Motion to approve the meeting minutes from
November 19, 2007 and dispense with the reading. Motion seconded
by Todd Breaker.
Roll call on Motion: Bird-yes, Jansen-yes, Breaker-yes
and Udulutch-yes. Motion approved.
6:03 P.M. - Commissioner Guy Fredel arrived at the meeting.
DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION REGARDING
HIDDEN SPRINGS DEVELOPMENT R-O-W LOCATION –
BETWEEN NICK AVE E AND MARTIN RD –SEC. 1 & 2
OF T27N, R8E:
No action taken. The Commissioners would like more information
regarding the Village property, which is part of the R-O-W
development.
DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION ON SEWER &
WATER STUDY:
No action taken. This study will be part of the Comprehensive
Plan Update process.
6:40 P.M. Rick Smith arrived and presided as Chairperson
of the meeting.
DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON WESTON 4 POWER
PLANT LANDSCAPING:
The Commissioners would like the Administrator and the
Public Works Director to work with WPS and get a more meaningful
plan for the village.
Sue Bird made a Motion to table this item until the February
meeting. Motion seconded by Todd Breaker.
Roll Call on Motion: Bird-yes, Jansen-yes, Breaker-yes,
Fredel-yes and Udulutch-yes. Motion approved.
DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON CSM(S):
None.
ANNOUNCEMENTS/CORRESPONDENCE:
The Village received material and a CD of the Marathon
County Comprehensive Plan.
ADJOURNMENT:
Sue Bird made a Motion to adjourn, seconded by Tom Jansen.
All Commissioners in favor of Motion by voice vote.
Motion approved.
