JANUARY 10, 2008 

MEETING MINUTES

 

Rick Smith called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

 

ROLL CALL:

Members of the Village Board present:  Rick Smith, Sue Bird, Justeen Vollrath, Geri Kowalski, Dan Lesniak, Rod Fisher, and Sidney Hallas.  

 

Also present:  Krystal Bokelman, Village Clerk, Greg Stacker, Attorney, and Dick Schneider, Engineer.

 

DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON APPROVING ROW ACQUISITION WITH RMCM LIMITED PARTNERSHIP LLP:

Attorney Stacker discussed the ROW acquisition with RMCM Limited Partnership LLP.

 

Sue Bird made a Motion to approve the ROW acquisition with RMCM Limited Partnership LLP for the three parcels.  Motion seconded by Dan Lesniak.  Roll Call:  Smith-yes, Kowalski-yes, Vollrath-yes, Fisher-yes, Lesniak-yes, Bird-yes, Hallas-yes.  Motion approved.

 

Geri Kowalski withdrew her vote on this matter.

 

Roll Call:  Smith-yes, Vollrath-yes, Fisher-yes, Lesniak-yes, Bird-yes, Hallas-yes.  Motion approved.

 

DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON APPROVAL OF OFFER ON CHAMPINE ROW ACQUISITION AND AUTHORIZE JURISDICTIONAL OFFER AND AWARD OF DAMAGES IF APPROPRIATE:

Sue Bird made a Motion to approve the offer on Champine ROW acquisition and authorize jurisdictional offer of $16,800.  Motion seconded by Justeen Vollrath.  Roll Call:  Smith-yes, Kowalski-abstain, Vollrath-yes, Fisher-yes, Lesniak-yes, Bird-yes, Hallas-yes.  Motion approved.

 

DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON AUTHORIZING PRESIDENT AND CLERK TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS FOR CLOSING ON ROW ACQUISITIONS:

Sue Bird made a Motion to authorize the President and Clerk to execute documents for closing on ROW acquisitions.  Motion seconded by Sid Hallas.  Roll Call:  Smith-yes, Kowalski-abstain, Vollrath-yes, Fisher-yes, Lesniak-yes, Bird-yes, Hallas-yes.  Motion approved.

Sid Hallas made a Motion to adjourn, seconded by Dan Lesniak.  All members in favor of Motion by voice vote.  Motion approved. 

 

The meeting adjourned at 5:26 p.m.
