KRONENWETTER VILLAGE BOARD MEETING

 

APRIL 24, 2008 

MEETING MINUTES

 

Geri Kowalski called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.

 

ROLL CALL:

Members of the Village Board present:  Justeen Vollrath, Geri Kowalski, Dan Lesniak, Rod Fisher, and Chris Voll.  

 

Excused Absent:  Rick Smith and Charles Soukup.

 

Also present:  Shane VanderWaal, Attorney; Bruce Bierma, Administrator; Lisa Myles, Public Works Director; Charles Sweeny, Attorney, and Dick Schneider, Village Engineer.  Members of the RDA were also present.

 

CONSIDERATION OF MOTION TO CONVENE INTO CLOSED SESSION PURSUANT TO SECTION 19.85(1)(G), WIS. STATS., TO CONFER WITH LEGAL COUNSEL FOR THE GOVERNMENTAL BODY WHO IS RENDERING ORAL OR WRITTEN ADVICE CONCERNING STRATEGY TO BE ADOPTED BY THE BODY WITH RESPECT TO LITIGATION IN WHICH IT IS OR IS LIKELY TO BECOME INVOLVED – A-1 EXCAVATING/TIMBER CREEK CROSSING LAWSUITS – 06-CV-440, 06-CV-1124, AND 07-CV-1304:

Dan Lesniak made a Motion to convene into closed session, seconded by Justeen Vollrath.  Roll Call:  Kowalski-yes, Vollrath-yes, Fisher-yes, Lesniak-yes, Voll-yes.  Motion approved.

 

MOTION TO RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION:

Dan Lesniak made a Motion to reconvene into open session, seconded by Rod Fisher.  Roll Call:  Kowalski-yes, Vollrath-yes, Fisher-yes, Lesniak-yes, Voll-yes.  Motion approved.

 

DISCUSSION AND ACTION ON A1 EXCAVATING/TIMBER CREEK CROSSING LAWSUITS:

No action taken. 

Dan Lesniak made a Motion to adjourn, seconded by Chris Voll.  All members in favor of Motion by voice vote.  Motion approved. 

 

The meeting adjourned at 7:09 p.m.
